This is ridiculous, but I can't get my user name, so I can't contact tech support. (I need help installing Starter on an old laptop running Windows Vista.) When I go to the Embarcadero web-page in order to contact tech support, it insists on my user name, and I've never created one. When I ask them to send instructions to my e-mail, nothing arrives in my e-mail inbox. (Yes, I checked my spam folder.) I feel like I'm trying to get entrance to the fortress of solitude. The other users here are very helpful, but are the people who actually provide this product unwilling to ever have anyone contact them?
By the way, my username is not the same as my display name. I've tied that and it didn't work. I also went back and looked at all the e-mails in connection with first downloading Starter, and I've found serial numbers for registering but nothing about a user name. I know I have never picked a user name. If my user name is my e-mail, why does nothing show up in my e-mail inbox?
