Remote App not re-scaling to 144dpi
I am having font size and screen painting problems with a Delphi program running as a Remote App. The program is compiled with Delphi Berlin 10.1. The server is Windows Server 2012 with screen resolution 96dpi. The Remote App is delivered to my laptop which is running the latest Windows 10 Anniversary Edition and has screen resolution set to 144dpi. It appears that no scaling has happened as the font is very small and parts of the main form are not painted correctly. Running the same program locally on the laptop with various screen resolutions does work correctly with the form automatically re-scaled and all text re-sized and very visible.

Converting from messagedlg to the new MessageDialog Method
I am looking for an example on how to setup TDialogService.MessageDialog for Delphi Berlin
I need to convert the fmx messagedlg to messagedialog since I am getting this:[DCC Warning] MainFormU.pas(169): W1000 Symbol 'MessageDlg' is deprecated: 'Use FMX.DialogService methods'

Berlin 10.1 Update 1 - very slow compiler for iOS
i'm about to code my first iOS app. Got to about 120,000 lines of code (25,000 my own code, the rest comes from TMS components for GUI). Compiling for the simulator takes about 10 seconds. Compiling/debug for the iPad (without deploy) takes 1:38 = 98 seconds, that's 10 times slower ...
Deploy to iPad takes 60 more seconds.
Is this normal?

Need help on Datasnap server-client connectivity problem
Can I have some help on Datasnap server-client connectivity problem. Using Delphi 2010 Enterprise IDE running on Window 7 (tried on 32 and 64 bit machine with similar problem) I tried to build Datasnap server/client according to the tutorial provided by Bob Swart 2009 white paper (Delphi2010 Datasnap: Your Data - where yu want it, how you want it'. In summary I created a Datasnap Server using VCL Forms Application selecting only TCP/IP and TDSServerModule. Everything is left at default. Port 211. DSServer autostart set to true. Build and compiled without problem. The server ran without a glitch. Check on Kapersky showed the server application was allowed.
I then followed that up with a new VCL form as client. Added in TSQLconnection using datasnap driver. Unfortuntely the BDE hanged everytime I try to connect SQLconnection at design time. TCPVIew showed Both BDS and server application has established connection at 211. The only way I can get out of this loop is to close and restore BDS and the following error showed. 'Window socket error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host (10054), on API 'recv'.

Problem using DBGrid with Delphi Berlin 10.1 Update 1
With Delphi Berlin 10.1 Update 1 I get "Exception class EArgumentOutOfRangeException with message 'Argument out of range'." when I try to use a DBGrid in a VCL application. This doesn't happen with previous versions of Delphi.

App tethering connection problem
I am working on app tethering. I tried an example from Malcolm Groves Blog www.malcolmgroves.com/blog/?p=1854. I set up the two programs as he described using app1 and app2, both running Windows32, and tried to connect using the Network property, a common group name and AutoConnect. Everything compiles fine. I am running the two programs next to each other. When I push the connect button, nothing happens. I get the device labels, but not the connect label. Here is the code for app1: I am using Berlin 10.1 on a Dell computer working with Windows 10. I have made an application for my Android smartphone that works great with a controller in a VR setup. I have a Windows program that also compiles fine that is designed to collect data from the Android. I tried both network and bluetooth autoconnect. I cannot connect the two, so I went to this basic setup example. Thanks for any suggestions.

There is Bug in IDE on my mind
Start C++ Builder any application, change compiler to new one. If you want to change property of object for example form caption from lampda function, you get :
ICE: Internal compiler error: C0000005 @ 539FCE99 in the first line of this file, and you "do not know why"
Steps to reproduce:
Change compiler to new one, add
#include "System.Threading.hpp"
and
_di_ITask task = TTask::Create([&]() {
Caption = "I know, it's wrong but: WHY there is [bcc32c Error] Unit2.cpp(1): ICE: Internal compiler error: C0000005 @ 539FCE99 IN FIRST LINE OF THIS FILE"; });
to any function.

Firedac TFdQuery with MSSQL and Table field with default value: NEWID()
I am trying to add a new record to a Microsoft SQL 2012 server Table.
The Id field has a "default value or binding" of: (newid()) whch works fine wit AdoDB components (TAdoQuery), but with TFdQuery I get an exception EDatabaseError with message: "Field 'Id' must have a value".
Are there some kind of parameter needed on the FDQuery or FDConnection?
